Goonz C.C. at the Drive In

The Goonz Car Club was formed in 1994 by three friends, who built and cruised custom cars in Yuba City California, this soon grew to four, and then, to seven guys who formed the Northern California Chapter of the club. Subsequently one of the founding members moved to San Luis Obispo and this gave rise to the start of the Central Coast Chapter. In 2008 American club member Scott Hamilton moved to Ireland and two years later in 2009 the Irish chapter, (Goonz C.C. Ireland), was formed. For the period of the next seven years the club went from strength to strength and in mid 2016 A Nomad Charter of the club was formed, with members in the U.K. the North of Ireland and France. Goonz Car Club can regularly be found in the Sinner's Den, at our annual club show, The Stomp in the Swamp and at various shows and events across the country and globe. All members have served at least twelve months prospect period with the club before becoming full members, this is a club where you earn the right to wear a club jacket. There are currently three chapters, The Northern California Chapter, The Central Coast Chapter, Goonz C.C. Ireland and a Nomad Charter. In the last few years the club has grown and gone from strength to strength with international members in the U.S.A, Eire, Northern Ireland, UK and France. 23 years strong, this is the life we live!
